MILES ROSENSWEET

I am an Industrial Designer from Vancouver, British Columbia. My design practice is centered around making: making in iteration and exploration and making in refined material outcomes. I prioritize a hands-on connection to the materials and seek to use materials that connect users to the design. I strive to push what is possible with a given medium while working to celebrate its natural properties. I believe design stems from community and place; both of which inspire me to delve deeper into a problem and find more relevant creative outcomes in my work. Through this approach, I aim to create work that is considered and connected, while always grounded in my own process of designing by making
